Metal Stud Partitions
Metal stud partitions are a fast and effective way of building partitions. They come in a range of widths to suit any situation. A frame is constructed onto which the required type and number of layers of plasterboard are screwed. Depending on the intended application the partitions can be built to suit acoustic, fire rated, moisture resistant and impact resistant requirements. Metal stud partitions are much more versatile than traditional timber stud and are much simpler to shape into complex layouts. Cables and pipes can easily be fed through the span of the wall without any drilling or cutting as there are service holes at regular intervals along the length of each stud. Insulation is fixed in the cavity between the plasterboard prior to closing the wall.
